The ACA Band Program is now using CHARMS, an all-in-one secure information system that has been proven to be an effective tool for many school music programs around the nation. This system will allow staff and boosters to streamline email communication to students and parents based on what ensembles they are involved with. In addition, it will also provide a convenient way for band families to keep their contact information up-to-date.
HOW TO LOG IN:
School Code: acaband (automatically done for you when accessing from this website)
Student Password: (passwords will be given out by the first week of school)
Once logged in, please check student information. Using the top navigation bar, find the "Student Info" icon. Then click the "Personal Information" tab. Check information in the system and fill in any missing info. Click the green Update button on the upper right-hand corner to retain changes. If any of your personal information changes throughout the school year, please update your CHARMS account. Additionally, you have the option of changing your password. On the home page, click the blue "Change Password" icon and enter the new data.
On the home page, click the "Calendar" icon and view the upcoming activities. This is the same calendar you see embedded on our band website. INFORMATION ON THE CALENDAR WILL BE UPDATED REGULARLY.
MOBILE DEVICE APP
Once we get up and running with CHARMS, a quick and easy way to access info will be via your mobile device (iPhone, Android, iPad). Download the free app called "Charms Parent/Student Portal". Remember, our School Code is "acaband".
Please take the time to become familiar with the CHARMS site. Throughout the year we hope to also use CHARMS to assist with parent volunteer sign-ups.
