JAZZ BAND

Advanced Band students may elect to audition for the ACA Jazz Band. Students interested in learning about the fundamentals of jazz should talk to Mr. Kaye about scheduling the Jazz Band course offered during 6th period (not all members of Jazz Band will be able to schedule this). Students will learn how to interact and perform through jazz literature. They will also learn the foundations of improvisation and jazz theory.  The entire Jazz Band will begin rehearsing after school in the weeks following marching band season.
