BOOSTERS OFFICERS 2021-2022

President: Melissa White

• Support Band Director
• Implement work of the Booster Organization
• Preside over general membership meetings
• Ex-Officio member of all committees
• Report to Administration
• Oversee Band Booster Budget
• Coordinate Spring Trip
• Sign PO’s as needed

Vice President: 

• Aide to the President(s)
• Establish phone tree system for all sections in the band (contact committees)

Ways and Means (fundraising): 

• Coordinate coke sales/pancake breakfast – events TBD
• Coordinate candy grams
• Coordinate items to sell at football games if any
• Explore and implement other fundraising ideas
• Treats for band at football games during 3rd quarter
• Meal Planner

Treasurer: 

• Assist in Booster funds management
• Sign off on PO’s as needed
• Present statement of account at membership meetings

Secretary: 

• Take minutes at all officer meetings and general membership meetings
• Act as liaison between President and Band Director
• Maintain a copy of Booster By-Laws

Event Planner/Coordinator: 

• Chick-fil-A supper for preview show/ 1st Band Meeting
• Senior Night reception (following Senior Night Football game)
• Christmas Party
• Spring Concert 
• Spring Banquet
• Order clothing

Staging/Maintenance/Performance: 

• Oversees equipment for all half-time performances
• Oversees equipment team and ensures equipment is loaded for “away” games (usually drives truck)
• Coordinates volunteers to take home towels in bins to wash and return before the next game

Publications: 

• Football programs for “home” games
• Monthly Band Calendars (includes practices, games, competitions & events)
• Possible Monthly or Quarterly Newsletter
• All concert programs and Banquet Program
• Submit articles about the band for the ACA Eagle Vision Newsletter
